For all those who celebrate, have a safe and Happy Halloween from all the admins and myself! Send me some of that candy ;-)

Nintendo will be holding a press conference at the LA Auto Show on the 17th of November. We have no idea why though, and when asked, their public reactions agency only said they have “more info coming soon, but nothing more to announce at this time”. The conference will only last for twenty-five minutes though, so don’t expect any major, drawn-out announcements. But even so, what do you think it’s about? Mario Kart related?

The video and all it's glory is below!

Raid Mode is the co-op (or single-player) experience in Resident Evil: Revelations that is separated from the main story mode. The aim is to attack enemies within levels lifted from the single-player experience, receivepoints in the process, and unlock weapons and upgrades to your character. The co-op can be played online or locally.

The latest edition of Nintendo Power reveals a few additional characters for Mario Kart 7. We already know about a couple of them but it looks as though Nintendo has included Wriggler and Honey Queen to the line-up. I had the fortune to play the game a few weeks back and I can safely say it’s shaping up to be something quite special.

Yesterday Bash gave us the first still shot from Japan's upcoming Phoenix Wright flick. Seen above... but here we have some video. See below.

“Cleaner” versions of these tracks will be included in the Zelda 25th Anniversary Symphony Concert CD that comes with the initial copies of Skyward Sword.

New Yorkers: Are you ready for a visit from a real life Mario? Personally, the idea of Mario's brightly colored but always deadly universe invading real life is terrifying, but It's happening, in Times Square. To celebrate the launch of the Super Mario 3D Land game for the Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo is giving fans in New York City a gift.  Anyone who visits Times Square on Nov. 12 will be invited to play inside Mario’s 3D world with life size warp pipes, trampoline coin jumps and a flag pole finale. You'll also have a special opportunity to play Super Mario 3D Land in advance of its Nov. 13 release date.

full list of activities:

  • A performance from a mass group of Nintendo characters at the start of the event
  • A set of exclusive Tanooki ears and tails as featured in the original franchise, rewarded to fans onsite throughout the event (available while supplies last).
  • A “Mushroom Kingdom” Pizza truck nearby offering free mushroom pizza slices to the first 1,000 consumers onsite that tweet using the #SuperMario3D hashtag.
  • Additionally, in advance of its official Nov. 13 release date, Nintendo is rewarding its biggest fans in attendance with an exclusive limited early sale of the game at Toys “R” Us located in Times Square on Nov. 12.
That's how you launch a game! Kudos to Nintendo. I only wish they had a similar event in Los Angeles so I could attend as well. In any case, check back after this goes down for pictures of all the goings-on.

Missed GTTV’s Nintendo episode last night? If so, you can watch the whole show online. I don’t believe embed code is available, so you’ll have to head on over to GameTrailers to view it.

We heard that demos will be supported with the next system update for the 3DS. So, when asked about the possibility of a demo for Resident Evil: Revelations, Christian Svensson of Capcom replied:

We’re in talks with Nintendo about that and I agree, I think that would help sales a lot. For that to happen we need to get permission to use a larger filesize than demos currently are allowed.

So, there you go. A demo of Resident Evil: Revelations might be coming to the 3DS.
