The timeline itself was created by Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma who is the supervising editor of the book.

If you visit the 3DS eShop, you’ll be greeted with a message stating that a new system update is available. This firmware is different than the upgrade that has been offered since early December.

It doesn’t appear to include anything of great importance. Nintendo’s official description of the update is as follows:

“System stability improvements and other adjustments
Further improvements to overall system stability and other minor adjustments have been made to enhance the user experience.”

Note that you must download the new firmware in order to access the eShop. The store will ask you to “Come back after you’ve updated”.

SAN JOSE, Calif., (December 21, 2011) – Leading video game publisher and developer NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc., today announced TEKKEN 3D PRIME EDITION™ is releasing in North America on February 14, 2012 for the portable Nintendo 3DS™ system. The unique functionality of the 3D system takes the famous King of Iron Fist Tournament into the third-dimension for the first time, delivering a more immersive and dynamic TEKKEN® experience with more than 40 characters.

And with the Nintendo 3DS system’s StreetPass™ feature, nearby players can exchange collectable TEKKEN cards even when their systems are asleep.

It seems as though LetterBox is on track for a worldwide launch. It’s been confirmed for Europe and Japan for this week, so I assume that it’s also coming to North America on Thursday.

Nintendo is now taking pre-orders for Xenoblade Chronicles on their official website. The game will be sold only through Nintendo and GameStop.

We’ve got a ways to go before Xenoblade is ready, but you might as well put down some money for the game if you have even a tiny bit of interest in it. Our very own Admin Qualbert swears by it.

You can pre-order Xenoblade Chronicles here.
